Guardians of the Galaxy: TUW Ready to Defend on Google Play
As the movie just headed into theaters recently, Marvel has finally released its game entitled Guardians of the Galaxy: TUW (The Universal Weapon) in the Play Store. Now, you can travel into the universe using your Android device as medium and enter the world of the Guardians of the Galaxy together with the Star-Lord, Racket, Gamora, Groot, and Drax to save the world from its nemesis.
This new Android game offers a gameplay that is nearly identical to the game Battleheart. So if you liked the role-playing and strategy game elements of Battleheart, expect that you’ll have a great time playing Guardians of the Galaxy. As to its storyline, fans will be delighted as the original comic book characters maker Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning co-created this exciting outer space saga.
The story is easy to understand where the mission is to retrieve the five pieces of the Universal Weapon to prevent it from getting on the wrong hands of Ronan the Accuser. You’ll start out with the modern Guardians team in response to their big Hollywood breakout movie last month. As you go further in the game, you’ll get the chance to recruit other familiar Marvel characters to be part of your team which can help you complete all the tasks that GOTG has in store for you.
Here are the game’s other features:
- Story mode that offers 60 levels of strategy battles to win
- Unlock and recruit 25 comic book individuals from the Guardians of the Galaxy universe by conquering the Arena mode
- Customize your characters by getting handy equipment to make them strong enough to handle big fights with the galaxy’s big guns like Ronan and Nebula
- Use your Facebook or Google Play account to gain achievements and see the scores of your friends
