Superfrog Leaps into the Play Store
The frog prince is back. Team 17, the game developer that introduced us to the widely acclaimed Worms, has finally dug up the classic 1993 title Superfrog, and released it on Google Play. Now with a re-imagined HD graphics, and improved features, this 2D side-scrolling Android game will surely satisfy your craving for some awesome platformer gaming experience.
For those who are not familiar with the tale of our little hero, this Android game is about a prince, whose love story rolled into a pandemonium of misfortune, when an evil witch cursed and turned him into a frog. That’s not all. As a bonus, the terrible witch kidnapped her princess to make it sure that he will not get a happily ever after ending that all fairy-tales have. Luckily, while the hero is in trance near the River O’ Despair, a drifting bottle filled with unknown potion has found him. He did actually drink it, and gave him some sort of super power to save the love of his life.
As for Superfrog’s gameplay, you are going on a journey across 24 exciting levels with boss fights which are spread into six different worlds to rescue the princess. Since this is a classic 2D game, expect that there will be a lot of running, jumping, item collecting, and monster crushing before you complete a level. To increase the intensity of challenges, this Android game is handing out an endless runner mode and the original maps for you to unlock, and play.
Help our green little friend succeed on his quest to redeem his love back by downloading now Superfrog on Google Play for $0.99. This Android game is now on sale (60% off) and doesn’t have any in-app purchases at all.
