Wayward Souls Available Now on Google Play
Noodlecake Studios has published Wayward Souls, a rogue-like action-adventure title based on classic games Spelunky, and Secret of Mana, in the Play Store. This Android game features graphics that certainly looked like it belongs to the 16-bit era but I’m sure as hell that it is very challenging. Even veteran gamers are going to have a bittersweet experience with this new hardcore game developed by Rocketcat Games.
In Wayward Souls, you will choose from one of the six heroes before you go to a hellish crusade full of monsters. Every playable character has their distinct skills and equipment which you can utilize in battles. The game is practically based on how well you have mastered the skills of your character, not to mention the creative mind you got to form a strategy for wiping out enemies.
Here are the other features of Wayward Souls:
- Intuitive controls that offers no virtual buttons
- 13 area types to push your limit
- Equipment combinations may change gameplay
- Victory depends on your skills
- Collect and wear hats for bragging rights
Wayward Souls is now on Google Play for $5.99. There are no in-app purchases being offered by this Android game which is definitely a positive. One more thing, Rocketcat also has plans to update the game by putting things like the MFI Controller Support, character tweaks, boss health bars, new dungeons to sweep, and many more.
