Follow the Line EX Review
I like endless running games so the idea of using your finger to go through a large game world in Follow the Line EX immediately caught my attention. This iOS and Android game from Xllusion requires you to keep your finger on the screen and you have to control it the best way that you can in order to get a good score.
The challenging thing about Follow the Line EX is that it manages to offer you a finger running game that is both fun and enjoyable, but at the same time the main focus here is you’ll have access to a simple yet challenging gameplay where you have to keep your finger on the dot and run as long – and as far – as you possibly can.
As you would expect, your score are immediately stored on the leaderboard, so there’s a constant need to perform better and better, something you will like quite a lot. Especially, if your friend is also playing the game, as you want to get the bragging rights.
The iPhone game does a great job when it comes to offering you an exciting, fun and unique gameplay. As the title implies, you just have to follow the line and dodge hazards along the way. You can move in two directions, which sounds simple but it’s actually quite challenging, and since there are multiple levels you will always find the need to beat your previous score and take your performance up a notch.
You can collect crystals to boost up your scores, but the true challenge comes from the game environment. The randomly generated path changes fast, so you will find yourself dealing with tons of obstacles all the time, that’s how difficult the game is.
Follow the Line EX features an upgrade system where you can upgrade your shield to protect you from obstacles. You can also “boost” the speed to reduce the overall speed and make it easier for you. Further, you can upgrade your score so that the initial score will be increased immediately.
It’s amazing what Follow the Line EX can do when it comes to its visuals. The iPad game has great graphics that are colorful and sharp, and that’s one of the reasons why you will get even more immersed by the game and the entire experience.
With many levels to unlock and a leaderboard to compare your scores to the other players, it offers a good experience and plenty of cool mechanics as a whole.
Follow the Line EX might be demanding at times, but the fact that it allows you to test and improve your skills makes it so much fun. Also, this Android game has in-app purchases where you can buy game coins or you can remove the ads.
In the end, I had a ton of fun and I enjoyed each moment. Chasing high scores with one finger works well for Follow the Line EX. It may not be the most complicated game in the world but it has enough going for it as it will keep you entertained for quite some time.
Summary: In summary, I enjoyed playing Follow the Line EX. This free iPhone, iPad and Android game lets you chase high scores with one finger. It may be simple but you'll definitely get entertained. Give this casual game a try!
